Activity
There is the practical part of hydroponics as a food production system. Food can be grown year round indoors in a completely controlled environment. This technology has changed the game.
There is also an aesthetic that is inherent in food production. The colors, textures, and even smells of the garden represent a critical part of the experience.
But there are restaurants, common areas, and businesses that have embraced the hydroponic movement not just for the food production but also as a work of art. Imagine being seated at a table in your favorite restaurant. You look to your left and you see the very greens and herbs used to create your meal being grown right next to you. The colors, textures, and smells will certainly help to shape your dining experience. And isn’t that exactly what art is and what it does?
Use the ZipGrow towers or a DIY vertical growing platform to build an edible art wall for the class/school.
