Full scale worm farming operations exist. It can be done and done efficiently with the proper equipment and knowledge. But to be truly scalable it requires a lot of human capital or efficient automation.
Temperature and moisture can be automatically monitored. But what else can be automated and how would it be done?
What would a fully automated worm farm look like? What systems would be used to control the worms environment? And what parts of the process would still require human intervention?
