In nature, there are areas where alkaline soils are prevalent. In other areas, the soil is acidic. And of course, there are vast regions of abundant growth that benefit from balanced pH.
What are the primary catalysts for changing pH in the soil in the natural environment?
The movement of water through the soil carries a host of minerals, heavy metals, pesticide residues, nutrients, and the like.
So how does Mother Nature balance pH naturally? What man made influences impact the pH of soil? How should these be managed if at all?
